Samsung said it will release its next flagship Google Android smartphone later this year, and it looks like the internet world can’t stop talking about it, its possible specs, and its possible release date.
According to the latest rumor heralded by Android and Me, a Reddit user has uploaded a render of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and it will reportedly hit the stage on May 22nd at the event in London, United Kingdom. Apparently, Samsung is not yet talking about it.
It is worth noting that last week’s rumor pointed to June as the Galaxy S3's possible release date, so if the new May 22 announcement date is accurate, then it is possible that Samsung will “copy” the way Apple promotes its new devices — short lag between announcement and release date.
The Samsung Galaxy S3, still according to rumors, is expected to ship with the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 operating system with custom Samsung user interface, a 12MP camera, a ceramic build, a 4.7+ inch HD Super AMOLED Plus screen, and thin profile. Similarly, the new render uploaded via Reddit showcases the rumored features.
Last year, Samsung’s Galaxy S2 took the “most popular” spot after attracting more than 10 million customers before the end of 2011. In United States, T-Mobile reportedly hailed the S2 as its most popular device due to the lack of iPhone 4S on its lineup.
