Apple new iPad (3) Reviews Roundup.

Tech sites and YouTubers post their take on the iPad 3 or new iPad this week and almost all reviews say that it is a “major” update — and surprisingly, the device’s “same-old” design is not a major issue.

“You have to see it to believe it,” says Tim Steven, editor in-chief of Engadget, praising the tablet’s gorgeous Retina screen adding that that the faster LTE speed (courtesy of Verizon) is quite respectful. Steven also added that the iPad 3 (or the new iPad) is worth the upgrade if you have the money to burn.

AOL’s Engadget review also tells its readers that the iPad 3 is slightly thicker, but much better than the previous model because of LTE or Long-Term Evolution and improved camera.

Meanwhile, PC World’s review is claiming that the iPad 3 redefines the meaning of tablet again thanks to new display, the same price, and the inclusion of LTE. The tech site gave the iPad 3 4 and a half out of five-star mark.

United Kingdom’s Tech Radar also echoes other reviews, claiming that the new iPad is a nice tablet because it includes a faster CPU and simple interface above all its new offerings. However, the site revealed that the new iPad 3 can “overheat” (ouch), and it is, well, thicker than the iPad 2 which is a big deal if you love thin biscuits.

Almost all sites also say that Apple will continue to dominate the tablet computer market with the new iPad. According to multiple research firms, the iPad still holds almost 50 percent of the market, but Android is quickly catching up courtesy of Amazon’s overrated Kindle Fire Android Tablet. It is worth noting that Google is rumored to be launching its own $199 tablet computer this year so we’re not SURE if Apple can maintain its wide lead.
